Dubai international airport issued an advisory to all individuals driving in or around the airport area on Thursday.
The post on Dubai Airports official twitter handle reads: 
"Dubai Airports would like to advise all drivers coming to and from Dubai International Airport on Friday, June 8, to take precautions.
"Starting from 4am and lasting until 8am, road works will be taking place at Terminal 1 exit in the direction of Garhoud.
"Please exercise caution and use alternate routes."
