Dr Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of Federal National Council (FNC), today extended condolences to the family of Emirati serviceman Sultan Mohammed Ali Al Ketbi who fell while performing his national duty as part of the UAE Armed Forces' participation in Operation Restoring Hope, conducted by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition in Yemen.
During a visit to Al Ketbi's family home in Al Dhaid area accompanied by members of the Council, Al Qubaisi said the sacrifices of the UAE Armed Forces will always be testimony to the UAE's historical role and deep sense of responsibility for brothers.
The heroism of the martyrs, she added, will always be remembered by the coming generations because they responded to the call of duty to promote their country's values and principles of relieving people in distress, backing legitimacy and protecting rights and the underprivileged in good times and in bad.
She noted that the UAE leaders and people joined hands to provide care for the families of the country's martyrs.
The speaker of the FNC expressed her sincere sympathies to the family of the martyr. She prayed to Allah Almighty to bless his soul with mercy in Paradise and give patience to his family.
