A massive fire broke out in four warehouses in Sharjah's Industrial Area no. 7, destroying all of its content.
The fire broke out at 1:30 pm. No casualties have been reported.
Sharjah Civil Defence dispatched fire fighters from Samnan, Muwailih, Al Sajja and Sharjah city fire stations. After struggling to douse the fire, Sharjah Civil Defence called for assistance from Dubai and Ajman civil departments.
The team managed to control the fire and prevent it from extending to nearby establishments and warehouses.
The civil defense began conducting the 'cooling' operation at 4 pm to ensure that the fire was completely doused.
According to an official at Civil Defence, the site will be handed over to fire experts at the forensic laboratory to investigate and determine the cause of the fire.
