Dubai Municipality will exempt those accompanying 'people of determination' from entry fee for public parks in Dubai.
The move is part of the Municipality's aim to meet the government's directives to support people of determination and to provide them with the necessities of a dignified life.
It is also part of the 'My Community Is a Place for All' initiative, launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, aimed at turning Dubai into a place friendly to People of Determination by 2020.
Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director-General of Dubai Municipality issued an administrative decision exempting two people accompanying the people of determination of the fees imposed on the entry of some of the facilities of the Municipality, such as the public parks in the Emirate, Children's City and Dubai Safari Park.
