Fujairah Police extended on Monday the decision of reducing all traffic fines by 50 per cent for 90 days, according to an announcement on the Fujairah Police official Instagram account.
The decision follows the directions of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, who called all police departments in the country to reduce the value of fines by 50 per cent on the occasion of the 46th National Day of the UAE.
The discount is valid for all fines incurred between January 1, 2017 until December 2, 2017.
Starting on Monday, December 4, all motorists are able to pay their fines and benefit of the reduction for 90 days.
