Shoppers arrived at the Dubai World Trade Centre earlier on Saturday ahead of the opening of the Gitex today.

Hundreds of shoppers and exhibitors were queued up outside the Zabeel Halls to gets hands on attractive deals offered by the retailers on new and old gadgets, home appliances and other electronic items.

Every visitor buying an entry ticket to the show will get a scratch-and-win coupon.

In addition, shoppers will win Dh10,000 cash every day at the show on spend of Dh2,500 and above. Around 40 visitors can stand a chance to win Oppo A37 smartphones, multipark tickets to Dubai Parks and Resorts.

The exhibitors are projecting over 200,000 visitors to turn up at the eight-day show.
