Here are five ways to have a big bang Diwali in Dubai!
1. Say 'Yas' to Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi
Brighten up with a full 'Ferrari' of lights this Diwali. From October 28 to November 5, enjoy amazing live acts and performances, such as Bollywood dancers, dhol drummers, a live DJ and much more at Ferrari World. Take a look!

2. Head to IMG Worlds of Adventure
The world's largest indoor theme park is offering 'buy one, get one free' ticket for admission on 29th and 30th October. The entrance fee for an adult is Dh300, and for a child it's Dh250. A senior will have to pay only Dh150. Admission is free for children who are less than 1.05m in height.

The offer is valid for UAE residents only and it can't be availed in conjunction to any other offer or promotion. Guests have to mandatorily produce proof of their residence in UAE at the entrance.
3. iPhone 7 can give you what money can't -- Happiness!
Dubai could be running out of gold this Diwali as jewellers have announced killer deals this festive season. One such retailer, Meena Jewelers, will be giving out iPhones for purchases of Dh50,000 of diamond jewellery.

4. Experience a sweet Diwali date
Dubai abounds in dates and Diwali is a perfect time to tuck into sweet treats. How about a date cake for your guests? Recipe here.

5. Lights with a twist
Give your home decor a personal touch while putting up lights this Diwali. Be innovative with your own designs of fairy lights. Here are a few do-it-yourself (DIY) tips, reports IANS.
* DIY flower lights: Put your fairy lights to some unconventional use this Diwali. Use discarded egg cartons to make some colourful and glittery light strings for your home interiors.
You can also opt for cupcake wrappers, cut them into different floral designs to get yourself gleaming floral garlands.
* Bottled fairy lights: Huddle these tiny fairy lights inside old glass bottles, liquor bottles being the best, to get self-made spectacular glass lamps that can be used to illuminate various spaces inside your homes.
* Light curtains: Lighten up your bedroom, living and drawing room by hanging strings of fairy lights. This time the only difference is, hang them in abundance like a curtain.
* Unconventional wine glass candle: Place a flower or any decorative element like coloured glass, twigs or pebbles, invert a wine glass and place a candle on the top. Station these quirky wine glass candles at various spots to add some unique decor and radiance to your home.
* Floating candles: Decorate a quaint corner of your home with an attractive Diwali special floral bowl.
Place scented candles with colourful flowers in a transparent bowl. The beautiful reflections of the candles will surely beautify the untouched spots of your home.
* Paper Diwali lanterns: Make yourself beautiful paper Diwali lanterns and hang these on the walls, terrace, and verandah.
