Global Village goes contactless as visitors flock to the attraction

More than 3,500 outlets will be present across the park to present the guests with unique cultural and entertainment programs and unforgettable experiences.
Six bespoke shows have been rehearsing to thrill the guests with a wide variety of performance styles and genres, plus five new productions in collaboration with globally recognised brands such as Peter Rabbit, the Care Bears and Octonauts are set to debut.
The carnival will also host a number of new walk-in attractions and rides such as the adrenaline booster Manila Mayhem and a brand new reverse time ride manufactured in Italy that rotates at 20rpm, 7m in the air.
Global Village will closely manage park capacity in line with UAE government and health authority recommendations.
If the Park does reach capacity, guests will be alerted through social media and the new website and mobile app.
The management at Dubai's Global Village has put in place stringent safety measures to keep visitors safe from Covid-19.
For the first time, visitors to the park will be able to make contactless payments.
Kids will be given face masks for free, while all touch points will be frequently sanitised.
Valet parking will not be available. Visitors who have taken VIP packages will have access to special parking zones through the smart parking gates with online car plate registration.
It is slated to run until April 2021 with ticket prices unchanged at Dh15 per person for the 2020-21 edition.
