Preparations are afoot to host the 21st edition of the Gulfood Exhibition 2016, at Dubai World Trade Centre, from February 21 to 25, with participation of more than 5, 000 international companies representing 120 countries.
Trixie Loh Mirmand, Senior Vice President, Exhibitions & Events Management, Dubai World Trade Centre, the organiser of the Gulfood Exhibition, said, "The extraordinary success of the exhibition is due to many factors, including Dubai's position as a global platform for re-export as well as the growth of maritime and air transportation sector, which expands the geographical presence in the trade sector, not to mention growth of the industry and food processing in the UAE in particular and the region in general."
