Sharjah - The Mleiha Spartan Race featured three main challenges

Sharjah's historic Mleiha area transformed into an obstacle course for 2,400 enthusiasts as they battled it out during the emirate's first Spartan Race.
Participants from the UAE, GCC and Middle East regions and the US, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, France, Finland, Czech Republic, Kenya and beyond descended on Sharjah for the race.
The Mleiha Spartan Race featured three main challenges, including the Spartan Beast, Spartan Spirit and Spartan Junior. The Spartan Beast, held for the first time in the Middle East, was designed for professional and highly experienced athletes and adventurers. It included a 20-km racetrack with more than 30 hard-hitting obstacles.
The Spartan Sprint featured a 5-km race course with 20 obstacles that included running, crawling and jumping, and was designed for athletes and amateurs, while the Spartan Junior, a 1.5-km track was designed for children aged 4-15 years.
