Global Village is one of the major attractions of the UAE. The arena, offering a complete package of entertainment, cultural events, and shopping, is thronged by millions of people every season. Special programs and events are organised every day at the Global Village.
For National Day, Global Village will host an exciting array of festivities. In addition to a live concert by renowned regional singers Mohammed Menhali and Walid Ibrahim on December 2, Global Village activities include the "Emirate: Land of Peace" operetta from December 1 to 6, the Shabiaat Cartoon with Globo Show from December 2 to 6 and cultural bands performing traditional dances.

However, getting lost in the massive crowd in the Global Village is not new. Every year, hundreds of children are lost here and reunited with the help of the police.
Follow these tips to avoid getting lost in the Global Village while celebrating National Day:
1: Carry a map
Whether you are new to the Global Village or a frequent visitor, carrying a map is a safe option. Every year new additions are made at the Village, which can confuse you during your visit. Take the paper maps with you and follow it.
2: Safety wristbands:
Children are mostly likely to get lost amid the crowd of Global Village. For safety reasons, children must wear the safety wristband provided by the ticket booths and information kiosk with the mobile number clearly written on it.
3: Information Booth:
If you get lost in the Global Village, rush to the closest information booth. People on duty there will guide you to your destination.
4: Follow instructions:
The safety instructions provided by Global Village staff must be followed. It provides all necessary information about the Village.
5: Avoid Fridays:
Global Village is completely packed on Fridays. If you are going with family, chose Mondays when only families and ladies are allowed inside.
