Huawei Consumer Business Group is showcasing its latest devices, the Mate S smartphone and Huawei Watch, in an interactive roadshow launched at select shopping malls across the UAE.
The roadshow is inspired by the opulence and style of luxury fashion with a sophisticated design. It gives shoppers the chance to experience and engage with the innovative devices, learn more about the Huawei brand, win smartphones and the latest Huawei watch by participating in competitions held daily.
The first stop was Mirdiff City Centre in Dubai, where it was on until December 15, followed by JBR the Beach from December 23-30. The roadshow makes its way to Abu Dhabi's Marina Mall from January 4-11, and finally The Dubai Mall from January 15-22.
Sandeep Saihgal, vice-president of Huawei Consumer Business Group Middle East, said: "When planning this distinctive road show, it was inevitable that we were going to incorporate fashion and style with technology and innovation. It is what we strive to do at Huawei with our products, devices and brand communications. We hope more and more visitors will take the opportunity to get educated on Huawei's latest technologies, flagship devices and vision. With this unique showcase, we have also fused elements of fashion, entertainment, fitness and several others that would appeal to resident families, friends and visiting tourists to the UAE."
Huawei G8
Separately, Huawei launched its latest device and newest member to the 8 family - the G8 smartphone in the Middle East last month. The device is ideal for young consumers looking for a smartphone that features enhanced technological capabilities at an affordable price.
The G8's hero feature is its groundbreaking camera that boasts a 13MP sapphire lens made to capture moments with friends and family with exceptional clarity. The smartphone is equipped with smart functions, fingerprint technology and long lasting battery life
