Which is your all-time favourite book and why?
I have been fortunate to come across some really interesting and wonderful books. One I could connect with the most is It's Rising Time by Kim Kiyosaki. It shows how women [entrepreneurs] have the capability of empowering themselves, primarily on the basis of first achieving financial freedom and stability for themselves, thus eliminating the need to be dependent on anyone. It talks about how women can achieve anything once they set their sights on a particular goal and stay focused. The book is populated with real life stories of women from around the world who have achieved success following this mantra. And yes, Kim is also the wife of Robert Kiyosaki, author of the bestseller Rich Dad Poor Dad.
What genre of books do you personally relate to most?
I keep myself abreast by reading a variety of books. Being a mother of two growing kids as well as a businesswoman, the books I am reading currently revolve around business development, sales and  parenting. Another book that caught my attention was My Fight To The Top by Michelle Mone.
Which is your all-time favourite fictional character and why?
My favourite character is Harry Potter; he achieves his goals through sheer perseverance and courage. I always desired to have a magic wand like him to get things done my way. If you think about it, we could all do with a little magic in our lives.
Do you make it a point to revisit a few key books every now and then?
I revisit a book whenever I feel I am confused. One of the books I keep going back to is Rhonda Byrne's The Secret. It is truly inspirational.
An important life lesson that a book has taught you?
One of my all-time favourite quotes is  "Everyone visualises whether he knows it or not. Visualising is the great secret of success" from The Secret. It is this thought that always helps me reach my goal faster and be largely confident of what I am doing.
