An Indian man allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the 10th floor of a tower in Dubai's Al Qusais area. According to the police, a municipality worker informed the police about the body lying near a garbage bin in the area around 10:00 am on Monday, saying he was shocked to see the body.

A police team sent to the site cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.
A prima facie police investigation revealed that the deceased was residing on the 10th floor of the building. He had apparently been suffering from some problems and had told his roommate about them.

The body was referred to the General Department of Forensic Medicine for autopsy .The man has been identified as Aroon Kumar.
Residents staying in and around Tower Six residential building behind Grand Hotel Al Qusais told Khaleej Times that the young south Indian resident, who used to share a flat on the tenth floor, was found by cleaning staff, and that Dubai Police and an ambulance team removed the body.

"I'm a resident in the building and saw the body of a man being removed in an ambulance on Monday evening. I don't know the resident who died mysteriously, but other residents are all talking about this incident. It's scary and I am sad," said a Filipino resident of Tower Six, largely occupied by bachelors.

"I'm aware of the mystery death in the building, but don't know the person directly. All his roommates are also being questioned by Dubai Police. They live in a 10th floor bachelor flat," said another resident.
