Dubai Shopping Festival 2017 has barely started and Indians and Pakistanis are already walking away with kilos of gold.
The first bullion winner of DSF 2017 was Khalid, a Pakistani national who won half kilo of gold on December 26, while Abdul Khadir, an Indian, won 250 grams of gold the same day.
The following day, 250 grams of gold each was won by Filipino Gemma Carlos and Bangladesh national Sazid Ahmed.
On December 28, Prince Golecha from India walked home with half kilo of gold, while Poojan S. Bora, another Indian, won 250 grams of the precious metal.
This DSF the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group (DGJG) is set to change the lives of 100 gold and jewellery buyers. It is running a promotion for shoppers spending a minimum Dh500 at participating gold and jewellery outlets in Dubai, who will get a chance to win three fabulous gold prizes every day.
Each day, one lucky winner will receive half kilo of gold, while two others will each win 250 grams of gold. On the final day of DSF 2017, one shopper stands to win 1 kilo of gold. In all, there will be 100 winners over the 34 days of DSF, receiving a total of 34 kilos of gold.
