Dubai rolled out its free Covid-19 vaccine campaign on Wednesday. Residents are being given the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, which was recently approved for use by the US Food and Drug Administration and registered by the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention.
The Government of Dubai Media Office and the Dubai Health Authority have shared a video, answering frequently asked questions related to its Covid-19 vaccination campaign.
Who will receive the vaccine?
Priority will be given to:
1. Senior Emiratis and residents aged 60 and above
2. Individuals with chronic diseases and people of determination
3. Frontline workers — public and private sector
Will the vaccine be available for all Emiratis and residents in Dubai?

Where can I get the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine?
Zabeel Primary Health Care Centre, Al Mizhar Primary Health Care Centre, Nad Al Hamar Primary Health Care Centre, Barsha Primary Health Care Centre, Uptown Mirdif Medical Fitness Centre and Hatta Hospital.
What is the cost of the Covid-19 vaccine?
It is free of cost.
Is vaccination voluntary or compulsory in Dubai?
It is voluntary.
Is it safe to take more than one type of Covid vaccine?
No.
Can a person who was infected with Covid-19 take the vaccine?
Yes, but only after three months from the date of infection.
