Jamaican sprinters Obrian McFarlane and Daeshawn Green may have benefited from Usain Bolt's advice to land gold in the 200 metres event in the Special Olympics World Games.
And on Tuesday, the world record holder was chuffed to see fellow Jamaican Kirk Wint clinch the silver in the 50 metres run at the Dubai Police Club Stadium.
The now retired Bolt, who still holds the world record of 9.58 seconds set at the World Championship in Berlin in 2009, was delighted with Wint's achievement in the games so much that he took to social media to tell the world about the 17-year-old's achievement.
"Kirk Wint (emoji) Jamaican Special Olympic athlete won Silver medal in 50m dash at the Special Olympic World Games in Dubai. Respect goes out to all Special Olympian #AnythingIsPossible #DontThinkLimit," Bolt tweeted on Tuesday.
Prior to the Special Olympics held in the UAE, Olympic champion Bolt had met McFarlane and Green and had offered advice to the duo.
And it was good to see the legend acknowledge Wint's achievement. Bolt also posted a video of Wint participating in the race.
He finished second behind Israel Malik Duncan of Trinidad and Tobago with a time of 15.06 seconds. North Macedonia's Ardian Shabani won the bronze.
Wint also won the bronze in the Softball throw final C01.
