Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended the opening of the first edition of the government conference for joint services, on Monday.
Participants discussed a number of topics and read out study papers at the conference, termed as a platform for exchanging international expertise and experiences within the scope of the government and outsourcing of services.
Held at Ritz Carlton Hotel, the event discussed the best used means and the services rendered for making customers happy. It also outlined the concept of the joint services within the scope of the government sector, including the world government's summit, Shaikh Khalifa government excellence programme and smart transformation.
A film on the efforts of the Ministry of Interior for promoting the rendering of smart and online services to customers and achieving them in the shortest time was shown to the conferees.
The film also showed MoI's keenness to serve all segments of society, with particular reference to the elderly and disabled, and facilitate services for them in a distinctive way, in a sophisticated and easy manner based on the theme "Our services at your hand and your satisfaction is our goal" into a tangible reality.
The conference was attended by a number of UAE ministers, Arab, international, local and federal government senior officials.
