Joseph Kony was born in 1961 as an Acholi tribal and his Lords Liberation Army (LRA) stronghold covers the borders of Uganda, the Congo and southern Sudan.

Diddy and Rihanna, the non profitable company Invisible Children has made a 30 minute film by Jason Russell that shocks any decent human being to the core. Over 10 million viewers took the film into the realm of the viral, horrified that in this time and era, such atrocity can go unnoticed for so long. The campaign was launched 48 hours ago.
The pressure: In October 2011, President Obama sent 100 special forces soldiers to help track down Kony. They failed. At that time 99 per cent of the world did not know who Kony was. The film intends to make him so famous, so well known that he is brought to justice.
Kony is known to have raided villages, kidnapped children as young as eight and put them into uniform as child soldiers often forcing them to murder their own parents. And other family members. He has abducted girls and converted them at gunpoint into sex slaves.
Russell’s film estimates the number of children at around 30,000; It’s reported elsewhere to be as high as 70,000. Because of him over 2 million people have been displaced and they still live in fear.
According to Wikipedia the LRA is a militant group with a extreme religious ideology. “They are known for the extreme atrocities they commit against civilians, including murder, mutilations, rape, and in some accounts even cannibalism.”

Jason Russell says that less than one per cent of the world knows who Kony is, however, if people knew what he had done, they would demand action.
“The dream would be for Kony to be captured, not killed, and brought to the International Criminal Court to face trial,” says Russell, not surprising considering Kony is the most wanted man in the world according to the ICC.
The cobcept is new. It has never been tried before. The way to go is to raise global awareness of Kony and to make him so famous he cannot hide anywhere not even in the jungles of Africa. “We do not want to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice”.
