Khaleej Times will host the Infrastructure & Real Estate Excellence Awards on December 5, 2017 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The award will showcase everything that UAE represents: a futuristic vision, wise leadership combined with class and elegance. Nominees will be shortlisted based on their performance on parameters set and judged by Ipsos Business Consulting, a global growth strategy consulting firm. The nominees will be further evaluated by a panel of judges and by people's choice, through voting.
Speaking about the initiative, Vinay Kamat, Editor of Dubai's leading English daily, said, "Khaleej Times has always focused sharply and intensely on sectors which have redefined UAE's economy. Realty is, without doubt, one of the economy's biggest propellers - its brightest beacon. It has differentiated itself globally by architecting newer lifestyles and communities. Put simply, realty is an inseparable part of life, living and family.
"It's time we acknowledge realty's unique significance in the UAE. We are, therefore, pleased to announce the Infrastructure and Real Estate Excellence Awards in partnership with Ipsos Business Consulting. The awards will recognise firms that are key contributors to national goals, not to speak of setting global benchmarks."
The cornerstone of the UAE economy has been its ability to develop world-class infrastructure. This has got accentuated by the developments and preparations that are afoot for Expo 2020. The UAE has never shied away from taking the first step to test and more importantly, deploy the latest technologies in record time. This makes the nation a torchbearer for best practices when it comes to infrastructure development.
"The Infrastructure & Real Estate Excellence Awards was conceptualised by Khaleej Times and Ipsos Business Consulting. The awards are to recognise, felicitate and celebrate the excellence of institutions and firms behind delivering the projects that contribute to the development of the UAE. This is for the first time in the history of this great nation that these awards would be given based on overall excellence in execution of projects and not solely based on opinions or financial performance of the organization," said Karthik Ramamurthy, regional director & head - consulting, Ipsos Business Consulting.
The nomination for the awards has started and will close on November 16, 2017. The organisers - Khaleej Times - will soon announce the jury. To know more about the Infrastructure & Real Estate Excellence Awards visit khaleejtimes.com/RealEstateAwards or email: awards@khaleejtimes.com
