KT UniExpo to return for its second edition in October

Dubai - 'It will bridge the gap between high school students, universities by providing a platform with a global perspective'

As the education sector moves to a remote learning environment, Khaleej Times returns with its flagship higher education fair KT UniExpo, from 1-3 October 2020, which was a roaring success last year.
In response to the current environment and to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, KT UniExpo has transitioned to a hybrid event, which means students, parents and teachers can join in-person in Dubai with the social distancing measures of course, or virtually from anywhere in the world.
A variety of themes and focus topics have been added to meet the current student needs and requirements. KT UniExpo's immersive digital experience has been crafted by combining the best of in-person events and adding tons of new, innovative formats including university virtual booths, live educational seminars, one-on-one video meetings with university representatives, soft skills sessions and career inspirations to really amp up the experience.
Speaking about the initiative, Shekhar Iyer, Director of Advertising and Sales, Khaleej Times, said: "As higher education undergoes a rapid transformation and a large number of faculty and students carry on with blended learning for the next term, KT UniExpo will bridge the gap between high school students and universities by providing a platform with a global perspective."
Prospective students will have the opportunity to meet and engage with subject specialists from over 40 leading international and local universities, from the UK, the USA and the UAE to understand the current programme courses and scholarships on offer and get detailed information regarding any questions or issues they may have about choosing their higher education university. Some of the universities that have confirmed their participation at the education fair include University of Balamand, Murdoch University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Monash University Malaysia and many more.
The event is free and open to the public. Students and parents can choose to attend the physical event or select virtual-only participation to get instant access to all three days of the event.
