Maid pours her urine in sponsor family's food; gets 300 lashes

Dammam - She claimed that they mistreated her.

An appeal court in Saudi Arabia has upheld an Asian maid's prison sentence and lashes for flouting hygiene rules.
A criminal court of Dammam city had sentenced an Asian domestic help to a year and half in prison and 300 lashes for putting her urine in the food she cooked for the family she worked for.
According to local media reports, the maid will be deported after serving her sentence as well as being banned from entering the Kingdom again.
The family first became aware of the misconduct after they smelled something weird in the food they were eating, local media reported. On enquiring about the foul smell, the maid said she was unaware of it.
The concerned family came across a bottle of yellow liquid in the house, and on confronting the maid, she admitted that it was her urine.
The family filed a case against her.
The maid told the public prosecution that the family used to mistreat her, which is why she started pour urine in their food, soup and tea since she began working for them
