A Pakistani suspect has admitted before the Sharjah Shariah Court that he murdered a compatriot after an arguement over personal matters.
Police officials testified that a passerby had informed the police that they had found a semi-decomposed body in the Sharjah industrial area. The police found the victim was stabbed many times. They launched an investigation and also conducted DNA tests.
The police arrested the suspect within 24 hours from Al Garayen area. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime and said he had an argument with the victim and hence had killed him and fled the scene. The case was adjourned to November 19.- amira@khaleejtimes.com
