A 19-year-old man died after one of the cars he was filming in a street racing flew off the road, and crashed into him in Al Ain city, Al Khaleej newspaper reported on Saturday.
On Friday, around 6:30am, Omar Al Azizy was making a video of the cars racing on the road while standing on the pavement when all of a sudden, one of the speeding vehicles lost balance and rammed him. Omar was killed on the spot, while the driver was sent to the hospital.
The incident sent shockwaves across the city. People from all sections of the society voiced the need for awareness about the risks of street racing that can have deadly consequences.
