A 34-year-old Pakistani man was found dead inside an education institute in Sharjah. The institute is in the Omran building on King Abdul Aziz road.
The police were notified about the body on Thursday around 7pm. The 24-year-old man is believed to have committed suicide, as per the preliminary investigation, the police have said.
In a statement sent to Khaleej Times, the institute said: " ... There was an unfortunate incident at the British Council office in Sharjah, UAE, which did not result in harm to any other people. An investigation is ongoing and senior British Council managers are liaising with the police and the British Embassy."
The deceased was neither an employee nor a student of the institute.
He is believed to have entered the institute when it was closed for the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.The police are yet to determine the cause of death.
