The Emirati was recognised for his bravery and praised for saving the life of a young girl from drowning at Ras Al Khaimah beach. Due to extreme fatigue and being swept away by strong waves, the young girl almost drowned, before Al Muhairi rescued her.
During the honour at the ministry's headquarters, which was also attended by Major General Nasser Al Lakhraibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, and a number of senior officers, Shaikh Saif highlighted on the notion that noble acts do not go unnoticed.
"This noble act of chivalry reflects the nobility of the UAE people, and their dedication to extend a helping hand to anyone who needs it."
He thus called for further encouragement on the noble spirit amongst all UAE citizens. Shaikh Saif noted that it is important to recognise those who show action and courage, as it not only reflects on a sense of heroism, but also Patriotism.
