Led by senior officials and dignitaries, crowds of people flocked to the Cordoba mosque in Bur Dubai here on Thursday afternoon to offer funeral prayer for the UAE serviceman Saeed Anbar Juma Al Falasi.
The 30-year-old sergeant, who suffered grave injuries while taking part in the ongoing war in Yemen, was shifted to the UAE for medical care, but was later moved to another hospital in France for completing treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Al Falasi joined the UAE Armed Forces over 10 years back. Al Falasi, born in 1986, was married and had a son; three-year-old Hamad, five sisters, and one brother, Salem.
