The students of TMHS, the only school in the UAE to offer ICSE and ISC curriculum, have once again done the school proud yielding cent per cent results this year and have recorded one of the best results todate, said the school headmaster.
The school sent 101 students for the ICSE (Grade 10) examination this year, of which 23 per cent scored 90 per cent and above marks, with boys stealing the spotlight from the girls in the science stream and girls scoring better than boys in Commerce. Farid Jalal and Neil Mathew topped the science stream with 95 per cent each, and Aditi Hariharan topped the commerce stream with 92.6 per cent marks. Other toppers in the science stream include Arshad Taylor securing 93.6 per cent, Manan Gupta scoring 92.8 per cent, Arjun Kapoor 91.8 per cent, and Sandeep Surendran scoring 91 per cent marks.
The top scorers in the ICSE Commerce stream in the school include Ryan Chadda with 91.2 per cent in the second place, while Aditi Bhaskaran and Anushka Kalyanpur jointly securing the third place with 90.4 per cent each, and Bhavika Megchiani in the fourth place with 90.2 per cent marks.
Out of the 67 students who appeared for the ISC (grade 12) examination, Harsh Menon topped the Science stream beating last year's record with an aggregate of 95.75 per cent. The other high achievers include Arwa Tayeb Khan with 93.75 per cent, Roshni Priyanka Goel with 93.25 per cent, Surender Gopinath with 91.75 per cent, Anushree Verma with 90.25 per cent and Shubhani Kukreti with 90 per cent marks.
In the Commerce stream, Shreya Kashyap Bhatt bagged the first place in school with 91.75 per cent. She was followed by Shadab Yaqub Taylor in the second place with 90.5 per cent and Arun Kumar Kalpesh in the third place with 88.25 per cent.
Congratulating the students and teachers, Darryl Bloud, school principal, said: "In our endeavour for excellence, both students and teachers have once again lived up to our expectations."
