Mohammed bin Zayed discusses bilateral relations with Italian PM

Rome - The Italian Prime Minister expressed his confidence on the fact that relations between the two countries will flourish.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, discussed the ways of enhancing discussions on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest with Matteo Renzi, the Prime Minister of Italy.
The discussions took place when Mohammed bin Zayed and his accompanying delegation met with Prime Minister Renzi.
Renzi welcomed His Highness and expressed his appreciation for this important visit that contributes towards the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between both countries and its people.
The meeting, which was attended by Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, included a review of the overall bilateral relations between the two countries. Both sides discussed several possibilities for their enhancement, including capitalising on the resources of both nations in an effort to evolve economic and investment relations.
Shaikh Mohammed stressed that under the leadership of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE aims to enhance friendships and cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations.
He also stressed on the importance of the meetings between the two sides for the purpose of exploring new opportunities to strengthen relations, build broader bilateral cooperation and increase the chances of establishing effective partnerships in the economic, trade and development sectors.
The Italian Prime Minister expressed his confidence on the fact that relations between the two countries will flourish.
The meeting also included discussions on current regional and international developments and a number of other issues of mutual concern.
