Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has launched the Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Council, the largest integrated intelligent platform in Dubai that includes 30 government agencies.
The council aims to receive suggestions, observations and ideas round the clock as well as conduct smart brainstorming sessions with direct follow-up by Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid.
On the launch of the council, Shaikh Mohammed said, "Our doors were and will remain open as we added today a new channel for communication and new council that includes all government agencies to receive opinions, suggestions and listen to the observations. Our goal is to make Dubai the world's smartest and fastest developed city with the help of citizens, residents, visitors and Dubai fans."
The Dubai Ruler made the remarks while launching the council in the Executive Office in the presence of Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.
He added, "Our goal is to offer an opportunity for each member of the community to attend our council, provide ideas, debate and work hand in hand in the development process."
Shaikh Mohammed added this will be attained with the participation of everyone and the blending of the traditional ideas with modern technology to provide an opportunity for all residents and lovers of Dubai around the world to contribute to the development process round the clock.
"The ideas are not exclusive to anyone nor do they have a specific time," he noted.
He stressed that the goal for innovation is to improve the quality of people's lives, adding that he would personally follow up innovative ideas that are put forward in the Smart Council.
