His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, today offered his condolences to the family of martyr Colonel Sultan Mohammed Ali Al Ketbi, who sacrificed his life while taking part in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition's 'Operation Restoring Hope' in Yemen.
Shaikh Mohammed, accompanied by Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and other senior officials, visited the mourning gathering in Dhaid city, in the emirate of Sharjah, to extend heartfelt sympathies to the family of the martyr.
HH Mohammed prayed to Allah Almighty to grant his soul rest in Paradise and grant patience and solace to his family, love ones, and comrade-in-arms.
The Dubai Ruler expressed pride in the youth of the nation and Armed Forces servicemen who wrote with their blood an epic of heroism, loyalty, sacrifice and bravery in defence of what's right and the oppressed in Yemen.
Colonel Al Ketbi, he said, was a role model of the brave commander in battlefields of sacrifice and courage.
HH emphasised that the UAE leadership, under President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, pays those martyrs and their families immense respect and regards.
