A new facility has been set up in Abu Dhabi for residents, including children, to play and exercise, or simply relax.

The facility includes a multi-use court for basketball, handball and volleyball, secured with metallic fence, and a shaded area for kids to play. There's a playground and gym equipment, as well as a games area for different age groups.

The 1,200sqm facility in the West 10 area along the Corniche was built by the Abu Dhabi City Municipality for Dh1.1 million.

The date for the opening of the facility has not been announced.
