A strategic plan has been adopted to further streamline enforcement of civil judgements of Dubai Courts. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE, and Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council, said the strategy will raise the efficiency of judicial processes.
It will further enhance confidence in the judicial system in Dubai, which is vital to “ensuring the emirate’s global competitiveness”.
Taking to Twitter, he referred to one of the eight defining principles of governance in the Emirate as listed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai: “No one is above the law.”
Quoting Sheikh Mohammed, Sheikh Maktoum tweeted: “Justice is the basis of a strong and proud nation, and guarantees prosperity and stability.”
The Deputy Ruler of Dubai added that the new strategic plan reflects the Emirate’s commitment to “constantly raise excellence” in the judicial system and “provide the highest quality of public services”.
Taresh Eid Al Mansouri, Director-General of the Dubai Courts, said the new initiatives will help create an advanced judicial system that “exceeds global benchmarks for speed, efficiency and service excellence”.
