The Dubai civic body denied the ongoing rumors on the presence of viruses in Rose Water products in the emirate.
Dubai Municipality officials said that samples tested showed no viruses.
However, contaminants are usually found in the product, in which case they're dealt with by authorities depending on the violation.
"Laboratories can show the presence of some contaminants that are being controlled by regulatory authorities .. in accordance to the polluter discovered," said officials in a statement.
"Authorities will not hesitate to reveal any information that might affect consumer's health," included the statement.
