Dubai - DHA launches 'Reading for All' Initiative that will give the public access to its electronic resources for free.

Dubai Health Authority (DHA) will give the public access to Rashid Medical Library's electronic resources starting next Sunday, in support of the UAE 2016 Year of Reading Initiative.
DHA launched the "Reading for all" initiative to support His Highness President Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan's reading initiative and to support His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai's Arab Reading Challenge initiative.
Dr. Jamila Mohammad Shaikh, Director of Medical Education Department at DHA said as part of the initiative, the public will be able to access all electronic and resources from books & Journals available in the Rashid Medical Library for free from October 30 to November 12.
She added the electronic resources include more than 200,000 eBooks, 8000 Journals, 15 million articles, two million Photos and videos and 27 databases that cost Dh4 million per year.
Gaining access to the library's resources will especially benefit those working in the health sector to diversify their knowledge in not only medical fields but also different topics.
