Pak PM Sharif departs for Islamabad after Dubai visit

Dubai - Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif under took a short visit to Dubai today to offer condolences on the death of Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has accepted condolences from Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the death of his son Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. 
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif under took a short visit to Dubai today. The Prime Minister's entourage comprised of Minister for Finance Mr. Ishaq Dar, Minister for Defence and Water and Power Khawaja Asif and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Mr. Tariq Fatemi.
Ambassador of Pakistan to the UAE Mr. Asif Durrani, Consul General in Dubai Mr. Javed Jalil Khattak and Special Envoy of the Prime Minister for Overseas Investments Mr. Javed Malik were also present on the occasion.  
The Prime Minister expressed deep condolences on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan on the passing away of His Highness Sheikh Rashid and commiserated with the family and the people of the UAE.
Shaikh Mohammad thanked the Prime Minister for visiting Dubai. Also present on the occasion from the UAE side were Lt-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Finance Minister of the UAE and Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
Earlier, when the Prime Minister arrived at the Royal Airport Dubai, he was received by Minister in waiting, His Excellency Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs.
His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarrak, Minister for Culture and Youth Affairs also called on the Prime Minister at the airport. 
Later in the evening, the Prime Minister departed for Islamabad.
