Accompanied by at least one family member from the UAE, the bodies of Mohammed Amjad, Abdul Hameed, Fazal Ayaz and Mohammad Abdul Haleem will be flown to Lahore and Islamabad aboard Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight in the afternoon.

One of the victims belonged to Punjab while the other three hailed from Swabi and Abbotabad in the North-West Frontier Province.

Earlier in the day, the funeral prayers of the dead will be held at Al Maktoum Hospital in Dubai after which the bodies would be handed over to the family members.

“We have completed all the paper work including the cancellation of the visas and forwarding of all the details to the PIA,” a Pakistan Consulate official told Khaleej Times.

He also said that as per PIA policy, the dead bodies would be flown free of charge. The person accompanying the body would also be flown free-of-cost.

Mohammed Pervez, a relative of the young victim Amjad, said that he was not ready to face the reaction of the family members who do not know about the tragedy.
