Pakistan consulate in Dubai has distributed Dh10,000 under its Ramadan and Eid package among 56 Pakistani prisoners detained in different jails across the UAE.

The amount was distributed among the male and female detainees of Sharjah, Ajman and Fujairah central jails by the Consul General Brig (Rtd) Syed Javed Hassan. The Consul General also ensured the prisoners that Pakistan Consulate will take every possible measure to support them. He directed community welfare attache Asma Ali Awan to keep continue visiting all jails regularly.

The prisoners and jail authorities thanked the Consul General for the visits and helping the prisoners during the holy month of Ramadan.

The breakup of total distributing cash Dh10,000 is as such: Dh3,600 was distributed among 18 women prisoners in Sharjah jail; Dh5,200 was distributed among three female and 25 male prisoners in Fujairah jail, and Dh1,200 was distributed among 10 female prisoners in Ajman jail.
