A 32-year-old Pakistani man was on Tuesday announced the winner of the latest Dubai Duty Free raffle draw.
The businessman from Peshawar, a first-time buyer, went home with $1 million after his ticket number 0241 in Series 281 was picked in the draw.
Numan Arif, who owns a bike leasing company, is the 16th Pakistani national to have won $1 million in the promotion since its inception in 1999.
"Thank you Dubai Duty Free for providing this life-changing experience to become a dollar millionaire," he said.
Two other lucky winners drove home luxury cars the same day.
Anthony Chijioke, a 51-year-old Australian national of Nigerian descent, won a McLaren 570S Spider (Pacific Blue) in series no. 1695 with ticket number 1237, while Hafiz Ullah, a Bangladeshi national in Dubai, won a BMW R 1200 R (Iced Chocolate) motorbike in Series no. 346 with ticket number 0753.
