From Shaikhs to ordinary citizens - people from all walks of life - paid their last respects to three brave men who shed blood for the nation.
First corporals Khalid Mohammed Abdullah Al Shehhi, Fahim Saeed Ahmed Al Habsi and Juma Jawhar Juma Al Hammadi lost their lives in Operation Restoring Hope, led by Saudi Arabia, to support the legitimate government in Yemen on Saturday.

UAE soldiers to be treated as Saudi martyrs
Jeddah - Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence of Saudi Arabia, has directed that the UAE soldiers martyred while performing their national duty in Yemen on Saturday, be treated as Saudi martyrs.
The martyrs, First Corporal Juma Jouhar Juma Al Hammadi, First Corporal Khalid Mohammed Abdullah Al Shehhi and First Corporal Fahim Saeed Ahmed Al Habsi, will be treated as Saudi martyrs "both financially and morally".- Wam
Bodies of the three martyrs arrived at Al Bateen Airport onboard a military plane of the UAE Air Force and Air Defence, accompanied by a number of Armed Forces officers.
Senior Armed Forces officers held a special military ceremony at the airport to mark the return of the bodies.
The three soldiers met with their death when their armoured vehicle exploded after hitting a landmine, thus taking the death toll of Emirati soldiers in the ongoing Yemen conflict to 6.
His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, offered the funeral prayers for Abdullah Al Shehhi and Ahmed Al Habsi at the Shaikh Zayed Mosque in Ras Al Khaimah on Sunday morning.
The prayers, which were held at the Shaikh Zayed Mosque in Ras Al Khaimah, were also attended by Shaikh Khalid bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Shaikh Saqr bin Mohammed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, and a number of other Shaikhs, members of the armed forces, citizens and residents.
Shaikh Saud, accompanied by Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, also paid a visit to the family of Abdullah Al Shehhi and Ahmed Al Habsi to extend his heart-felt condolences.
He prayed to Allah to bestow his mercy on them, to rest them in eternal peace among the martyrs, and to grant their families patience and fortitude to bear their loss.
Meanwhile, funeral prayers were held for Juma Al Hammadi in Shaikh Saud Al Qassimi Mosque in Sharjah. Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited the house of Al Hammadi in Sharjah along with Shaikh Nahyan.
Shaikh Abdullah said: "The sacrifices made by the homeland protectors and their bravery will remain in the consciousness and conscience of the loyal people of the UAE."
