For the 11th year running, the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) is taking part in the Dubai International Boat Show organised by the Dubai World Trade Center. The newly air-conditioned abra will feature RTA's participation in this renewal of the exhibition.
"During the event, the RTA will also offer operational services through commuting participants and visitors from Al Habtoor City Marine Transport Station at the Dubai Water Canal to the venue of the event. We will also have a stand for exhibiting key marine transport projects of the RTA, i.e. the newly air-conditioned abra; which reflects RTA's vision of supporting marine transport means with the latest mobility means and meeting the needs of abra riders," said Mansour Rahma Al Falasi, Acting Director of RTA's Marine Transport.
"RTA's stand this year is expected to attract huge folks of visitors & specialists more than any time before. Visitors will be keen on acquainting with various marine transit modes provided to the public such as the Dubai Ferry, Water Taxi, Water Bus and Abras, be it electric or diesel-powered. A team of competent staff will be in place to communicate with interested visitors and provide them with more information about RTA's marine transport services," added Al Falasi.
