More security patrols were deployed at key locations and tourist sites as the Ras Al Khaimah Police launched 'Safe Ras Al Khaimah' campaign across the emirate.
The drive aims to boost safety and security, while curbing serious crimes.
The patrols will keep a vigil on the sites round the clock, said Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan, commander-in-chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police.
The campaign will speed up response to emergency cases, pointed out Brigadier Abdullah Ali Menakhas, director-general of police operations, RAK Police.
“The sites have been earmarked as per the police analysis of serious and worrying crimes reported before.”
“The police spare no effort in boosting safety, security and stability in the emirate with the help of the latest anti-crime equipment.”
