Dubai - A gyrocopter had crashed off Dubai earlier this week during the World Air Games Dubai 2015. 'His family is by his side. His condition is stable,' said a statement.

Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince has directed that the injured pilot of the gyrocopter, that crashed this week off Dubai during the World Air Games, is to receive the best medical treatment.
According to a statement released by World Air Games Dubai 2015 on behalf of the Director of the FAI World Air Games Dubai 2015., the accident happened at Skydive Dubai Palm Dropzone which was being piloted by competitor Arend van Randen from the Netherlands.

The press release further said:
'He is currently in hospital and his family is at his side. His condition is stable.
Under the direction of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council and followed up by the FAI World Air Games Dubai 2015 Higher Organising Committee, he is receiving the best medical care.
