The speed limits for UAE's new highway have been revealed.

The new 89km Sharjah-Khor Fakkan Road passing through the Hajar Mountains was inaugurated on April 13. Built at a cost of Dh5.5 billion, the road will reduce travel time between the two cities to 45 minutes.
The highway has three speed limits as you drive down the picturesque route:
- The speed limit at the start is set at 120kmph
- The speed limit by the mountains is 60kmph
- The speed limit inside the tunnels is 40kmph
It also boasts of the longest tunnel in the region.
