Sharjah's premium leisure and tourist destination - has been decorated with an array of colourful lights and lanterns to celebrate Ramadan, with special illuminating ornaments now in place throughout its walkways and communal areas. The enhancing of the location's environment has been done to welcome visitors during the holy month and to encourage them to make the most of its numerous facilities.
Al Majaz Waterfront is welcoming visitors with glowing stars and crescents that festoon its walkways, with its trees draped with strings of lights that impart an illuminating ambience and a unique beauty to its spacious garden.
Al Majaz Waterfront's Ramadan setting is even more spectacular in the evenings when visitors break their fast at Iftar or Suhoor meals at one of its many restaurants and cafés that overlook Khalid Lagoon. The location is proving to be a popular draw for families to share precious moments together at Ramadan banquets, which take place until late in the evening.

The Dh120 million Al Majaz Waterfront is a debut project from Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq). Opened in March 2012 Al Majaz Waterfront is situated in Sharjah's dynamic and commercial district on the picturesque Khalid Lagoon. As one of the premier tourist and leisure destinations in Sharjah, it plays host to all major events in the emirate.
Al Majaz Waterfront houses many world-class restaurants and cafes, including TGI Friday's, Caribou Coffee, Pizzaro, Zahr El- Laymoun, Tim Hortons café, Cold Stone Creamery, fine dining Moroccan restaurant ElManza and Shakespeare and Co., with all outlets overlooking the breathtaking Sharjah Fountain. Al Majaz Waterfront is home to a Splash Park, Mini Golf, Play Area and 'ALWAN,' a unique activity centre exclusively designed for children to spend quality time with their parents or simply have fun.
