The Emirati couple, who were injured in the mass shooting incident in Prague, both work in UAE government entities. On Friday, the Crown Prince of Dubai personally called them up to check on their condition.
In a statement released by the Dubai Media Office, the couple were identified as Ahmed Ebrahim Obaid Ali Al Ali, director-general of the Umm Al Quwain Municipality, and Rowdah Al Mehrizi, director of marketing and corporate communication at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai.
They were among the 25 people were wounded in the incident that has been considered one of Czech Republic's worst attacks.

During the phone call, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, wished them a swfit recovery, reassuring them that the UAE Government would provide all necessary support.
All required measures and resources would be "devoted to assisting UAE citizens facing difficult circumstances anywhere in the world", he said.
The Dubai Crown Prince also issued directives to all authorities concerned to ensure that the best care is provided to the two citizens.
His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, also made a phone call to the couple and checked on their wellbeing.
He also asked about their children and wished them a safe return to the UAE.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, praised the Czech government's efforts in taking care of the wounded Emiratis.
He made a phone call to Jan Lipavský, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, during which he also expressed his deepest condolences and sympathy over the deadly attack.
