A number of GCC leaders are slated to visit Pakistan next year.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, is likely to visit Pakistan in 2019.
"According to tentative details, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will visit Pakistan in January 2019," Tribune quoted Pakistan's Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Fawad Chaudhry, at a news briefing on Thursday.
Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud will visit the country in February next year.
The minister added that the news comes after Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had a telephonic interaction with the dignitaries. Chaudhry also revealed that Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, termed the largest ever foreign investment, will be finalised "this week".
The federal Cabinet also reviewed measures related to austerity, finances and making travel convenient for overseas Pakistanis to the country.
While, reaffirming confidence in Chaudhry, last week Prime Minister Imran Khan rejected rumours of his dismissal after Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid claimed he had been offered Chaudhry's role.
