Another country has been added to the list for visa-free entry for UAE citizens.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Chairman of the Education and Human Resources Council, met Ivica Dacic, the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Serbia on the sidelines of the 73rd UN General Assembly meet.
The two added an amendment to the original passport protocol agreement in 2014. Regular passport holders, as well as diplomatic and special passports, are also exempt from the entry visa requirement for both countries.
Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of State, and Lana Nusseibeh, the UAE's permanent representative to the United Nations, also attended the meeting.
This comes on the heels of another agreement between the UAE and Paraguay also allowing visa-free entry for the two nations.
