A third UAE soldier was killed in Yemen while participating in Operation Restore Hope, led by Saudi Arabia.
The death was announced by the General Command of the Armed Forces today, which said Seif Youssef Ahmed Al Falasi was performing the national duty within the forces participating in the operation "Restore Hope" with the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to stand by the legitimate government in Yemen and support.
The announcement comes barely four days after Lieutenant Abdul Aziz Sarhan Saleh Al Ka'abi died in Yemen while performing national duty. The body of Lt Al Kaabi was laid to rest in Al Haili grave yard. The 24-year-old deceased is from Al Foaa neighbourhood in Al Ain and is survived by two sisters and six brothers (read story).
Last month, non-commissioned officer Hazim Obaid Al Ali, 40, had died in exercises in Saudi Arabia (read story).
