Dubai Municipality receives over 2,000 complaints and queries every day from the residents. These are reported on its hotline number 800900. And the civic body is committed to attend to each one of them.
There are three complaints which the residents mostly make to the municipality. These top complaints involve:

1. Stray cats

2. Sewage network obstruction

3. Removal of general waste

Stray cats

The poor felines loiter on the streets looking for food. Dubai Municipality rescued 80 stray cats in the old fish market in Deira after receiving reports on their difficult situation.
The civic body sent three trucks and 15 specialists from the Veterinary Service Section to save the cats that haven't been receiving sufficient food and care.
As far as enquiries made to the municipality go, these mostly revolve around:
1. Housing fees
2. Occupational health cards
3. Renting chalets
